Developed from the Spade and Océane anchors, the New SWORD anchor combines performance with affordability.  Using the SPADE's legendary concave blade and the Océane's tip mounted shank principle the Sword offers enormous holding power coupled with light weight.  

The SWORD

Based on exactly the same principles that have made the SPADE anchor the success it is today, the SWORD offers the following unique advantages (Patented) :

Fast penetration into nearly all sea bottoms, thanks to the optimisation of both weight at the anchor tip and the ideal penetrating angle.

Exceptional holding, thanks to the optimisation of the shape of the fluke and of the surface area/weight ratio (between two and three times the holding of conventional anchors weight for weight).

High holding, even with a low scope.

Easy break out when the bow is vertically above the anchor.

Snug fit on most bow rollers,

Easy stowage either on the bow roller or in an anchor locker (compact shape).

Thanks to the specific shape of the shank, it does not interfere with the Genoa reefing drum.
