| A great new scuba
concept.... Mini B is essentially a
Scuba diving kit in a backpack. The backpack contains a tank, a
buoyancy control device, pockets for lead as well as regulator(s) and
Gauge(s).

How does it work?
Basically everybody has a different level of
buoyancy... so you fill the lead pockets with lead until you begin to
sink. The tank not only provides air to breath but it also
provides air for buoyancy. By filling your BCD with air you start
to rise in the water, by releasing air from the BCD you start to sink.
This gives you total control over your level in the water. The BCD
is essentially a big bladder and the filling and release of air is
simply controlled by two buttons. Breathing is via a regulator and
a pressure gauge indicates pressure/air remaining in the tank. The
Sport MkII also comes with a second regulator and a depth gauge.
Tank sizes vary from 5Ltr -12Ltr. A 5 litre tank
will give between 20 and 40 minutes of dive time depending on the
individual and the depth of dive.

What are the advantages over standard scuba
gear?
- It is self-contained - quick to put on and
easy to find.
- The horizontal tank eliminates tank roll and
eliminates interference with the back of the head.
- The pack is streamlined for speed through the water
and significantly reduced damage to swimming pools during training
sessions and pool maintenance.
- The unique design means that you remain vertical on
the surface rather than face down with conventional dive gear.
- The MiniB is competitively priced.
It is important that you have a good
understanding of scuba diving before using this equipment as it can be
dangerous.
